During the period of rotational inter coy transfer, individual alongwith others was accompanying the shifting party from Coy HQ, Ampura to office tilla outpost under Khowai PS. On 22/03/1998 at about 0825 hrs whiles the vehicle borne troops on vehicle No. TR 011049 moving towards outpost leading to Khowai faced an encounter with NLFT at Pandit Ram Para, trapped by insurgents resulting all jawan made supreme sacrifice by showing excellent courage till last breath.

On 30/07/1997 at about 1040 hrs. under command of Hav Kanailal Saw while they were returning by a hired vehicle bearing No. TRL-3898 (Civil Center) from Vanghmun to Dasda, when reached at Nutanbari trapped in an Ambush of Extremists on the road with sophisticated weapons. Rfn Nepal Ch. Das who was manning the LMG fitted on the cabin top of said vehicle, despite heavy calling of fire from Extremist, put a valiant display of courage by firing 41 Rounds from LMG till he succumbed to injury.

Individual along with others detailed for escorting the Rubber Board Official up to Borakha for payment of wages to the labourer by a vehicle bearing Registration No. TRT-1556 (Jeep) and while returning from Borakha on 25/05/1993 at 1230 hrs near Rajchantai market, they confronted an encounter with unknown Extremists reportedly ATTF sustaining serious bullet injury. Since the last breathe, he continued firing without caring for own life showing outstanding performance.

The Said person while conducting Escort Duty suddenly extremist opened fired on the convoy at Karnamani para under Ambassa PS.

Apan Barman was appointed as a direct Sub-Inspector of Tripura Police on 01.02.2000. He hailed from village-Radhamadabpur, PS-Melagarh, District-Sepahijala, Tripura. He was posted to Longtarai Valley PS, Dhalai District, Tripura. While he was returning from Agartala after investigation of a case relating to a crime against woman, this valiant Sub-Inspector confronted with a group of NLFT extremists at Haduklaouk under Ambassa PS, Dhalai District, Tripura on 07.08.2006 and he laid down his life.

On 13-07-1995 at about 830 hours a Group of armed NLFT extremists ambush on Police escort vehicle at Hezacherra under PS Chowmanu, Dhalai District, resulting which Pradip Kumar Das & 6 others Tripura Police Personnel Died at Spot.

Amal Bikash Chakma was appointed as a Sub-Inspector of Tripura Police in 1983 and became Dy. SP in 1996. He hailed from village-Pecharthal, Unakoti District, Tripura. When he was posted as the SDPO of Longtarai Valley, Dhalai District Tripura, this brave officer laid down his life on 20.12.1996 while rescuing passengers of a civil bus from the clutch of extremists at Karaticharra under Nepaltilla PS, Dhalai District Tripura. He was posthumously awarded President's Police Medal for gallantry on the occasion of the Independence Day 1999.

On 20-12-1996 at about 930 hours a group of armed extremists ambushed on Police vehicle proceeding for CI operation Karaticherra under PS Manu, Dhalai District, resulting which Prem Mohan Jamatia & 5 others Tripura Police Personnel Died at Spot

On 03-10-1995 at about 1430 hours a group of armed extremists attacked on Police patrolling speed boat in Dumbur reservoir under PS Raishyabari, Dhalai District, resulting which Bimal Kanti Dey & 2 others Tripura Police Personnel Died at Spot.
