Brief of Incident
During the period of rotational inter coy transfer, individual along with others was accompanying the shifting party from Coy HQ, Ampura to office tilla outpost under Khowai PS. On 22/03/1998 at about 0825 hrs whiles the vehicle borne troops on vehicle No. TR 011049 moving towards outpost leading to Khowai faced an encounter with NLFT at Pandit Ram Para, trapped by insurgents resulting all jawan made supreme sacrifice by showing excellent courage till last breath.
