On 17-07-2023 a High Level and State Level Drug disposal Committee in Tripura destroyed Ganja 5473.12 kgs, Codeine based cough Syrup 5138 Bottles, Yaba tablets 19313 and Heroin 6381.43 grams . Total approx value destroyed drugs is Rs. 9.5 Cores. Live streaming of the whole destruction process was done from Tripura which was witnessed by Hon'ble Union Home Minister.

On 12-01-2021 Ranir Bazar PS officers and staffs along with CRPF personnel destroyed approx. 2000 (two hundred) nos Ganja Plants at Bramha Tilla , Mohanpur in an abandon tilla land, under Ranir Bazar PS.

on 17-12-2020 at about 1430 hours based on secret information Dharmanagar PS staff detained one drug peddler namely Jiabul Miah(23) S/O Lt. Mushid Ali of Kameshwar under Dharmanagar PS from Batarashi with contraband drugs. During search police recovered total 6,000 nos Yaba tablets from his possession and arrested him.

Madhupur PS staff destroyed approx. 1,15,000 nos ganja plants from Devipur & Kamalasagar Tea garden area . Sonamura PS staff also destroyed tatal 50,000 nos ganja plants from Kamalnagar & Batadola areas.

Khowai PS staff detained one persons namely Krishna Das(35) S/O Kanu Das of Tablabari under Khowai PS . On searching police recovered total 220 gm Heroin contained in 15 nos . small plastic vials from the possession of detained persons.

SDPO Amtali and O/C A.D. Nagar PS staff conducted raid and search inside the Go-down of accused Santosh Kumar (55) S/O Lt. Muralidharan Jain and Gourav jain S/O Santosh Kumar Jain, both are of Badharghat Co-operative area and recovered total 37900 bottles of Phyensedyl & 14400 bottles of Eskuf Cough Syrup contained in 104 nos nylon Sacks & both accused persons have been arrested .

Dharmanagar PS staff detained one person namely Md. Mahim Uddin (22) of Sakaibari along with his vehicle B/R No- Tr05-A-0636 (Wagoner) and recovered total 70.80 gram Heroin contained in 03 nos plastic soap cases from his vehicle .

on 02-09-20 at 1100 hrs Sonamura PS staff destroyed 50,000(approx) ganja plants from the area of West Durlavanarayan under Sonamura PS.

on 02-09-20 Kalamcherra PS staffs destroyed 2000 nos (approx) ganja plants from the area of Manikyanagar under Sephailala District

On 27-08-2020 Dharmanager PS staff recovery and seized 16.15 grams heroin and 1070 Yaba Tablets and arrested one person namely Md. Manir Uddin S/O Md. Mobasir Ali of west Chandrapur Dist-West Tripura.
