Late Rifleman (GD) Anil Chandra Jamatia was appointed in 2nd Bn Tripura State Rifles (TSR) as Rifleman (GD) on 10.09.1992 He hailed from Village-Pabitraram Bari PO- Pitra Bazar, PS.- Killa , District Tripura (South). On 26.09.2004 this valiant Rifleman sacrificed his life while fighting extremists at Hatungdebra Para approx 06 KM from Gala para Camp PS Sidhai under West Tripura District.
