Monoranjan Debbarma

Monoranjan Debbarma joined Tripura Police as as direct Sub-Inspector on 09-09-1981 .He hailed from vellage Amtali under Bishalgarh PS District Sepahijala, Tripura He was appointed to the rank of Dy.SP (when he was posted as the SDPO of Jirania , West District Tripura he laid down his life on 26-05-2001 in fighting with ATTF extremist at Radhapur area and Radhapur PS West Tripure) He was declared as the Policeman of the year 2000. The Police Stadium at A.D. Nagar , Agartala West Tripura had been named after him as a recognition of his service.
