Shradhanjali to Police Martyrs
Rfn(GD) Jaharlal Debnath died on 12.07.2004 while performing bonafede Govt. duty i.e. during special Ops following an encounter with unknown extremists at Hechunia Para under Jirania PS at about 1730 hours, West Tripura vide Jirania PS case No.32/2004 dt. 12.07.2004 under section 148/149/ 353/326/304 IPC and 27 Arms Act.
LNK(GD) Kishore Debbarma died while performing bonafede Govt. duty i.e. during special Ops following an encounter with unknown NLFT (BM) extremists on 29.04.2006 at about 1330 hours at Buddajoy Para, on 10 Mile point to Champarai para road under Ganganagar PS, Dhailai Tripura vide Ganganagar PS case No.03/2006 dt. 29.04.2006 under section 148/149/ 353/427/333/307/ 302 IPC and 27 Arms Act.
20.08.2002 at 0830 hrs an ambush took place laid by unknown armed extremist on way at Hirapur under the then Takarjala PS while escorting two sick TSR personnel from Amarendranagar TSR Post of 7th Bn TSR(IR-VI) to Bishramganj Hospital.
When he scout of the Ops party in between Bikram Malsom para and Rupani para at the time ops party come under attack from 20/30 extremists . Firing valiantly Rfn (GD) Mani Ram Reang repulsed the attacked of the extremists and compelled the extremists to flee away leaving on AK 56 . But unfortunately the valiant Rfn got injured by bullets and died on the spot.
