SRN PS GDE No. 13/15/17 Dt. 4/9/16 one minor girl namely Ashita Debbarma(13) D/O Sri Babul Debbarma of East Pratapghar PS- East Agt. V/L her relatives house. Subsequently recovered by police party from Anandanagar under SRN PS and handed over her legal guardian i.e mother namely Soma Debbarma (35) W/O Sri Babul Debbarma of East Pratapghat PS- East Agt after observing legal formalities. SRN PS GDE No. 28/34 Dt. 24/8/16. On 24/8/16 at 1526 hrs some villagers of moloynagar detained one minor boy namely Mafaj Alam (08) s/o MD Ruful Alam of Assam PS- Madhuaga pathar and found said minor boy may be missing. Accordingly handed over to SRN PS . subsequently PS officer enquired the matter and handed over to child line Agartala.

In the intervening night of 02-03.09.16 at 0145 hrs. a total of 173 cartons containing 2076 bottles (750 ml each) foreign liquor loaded in a truck bearing No.AS-01-W-9711 were recovered and seized by SDPO, Panisagar & Panisagar PS staff under T.E Act based on a secret information at Ramnagar on the NH-44 under Panisagar PS .

On 02-09-16 under Bishalghar PS Sepaijala District 2 persons arrested & 875 kg Ganja seized from a Guwahati bound truck in a joint operation by Sepahijela District Police & BSF.

Today On 23-06-2016, the By The Ld. Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Court No- 02 Udaipur, Gomati Tripura has convicted 01 (One) accused person namely Pradip Dey (35) S/O Lt. Bimal Dey of Matabari, PS RKP S, under Gomati District U/S 498(A) IPC. On 28-07-2012, RKP PS Case No. 289/2012 U/S 498(A) IPC was registered on the basis of complainant Against the accused person Pradip Dey (35) S/O Lt. Bimal Dey of Matabari, PS RKP S, under Gomati District, for subjecting cruelty/torture upon the complainant at her matrimonialhouse at Matabari, PS RKP over the issue of dowry demand. After investigation I.O of the case W/SI Madhabi Debbarma, filed Charge-sheet on 17-08-2012 against the accused person namely Pradip Dey (35) S/O Lt. Bimal Dey of Matabari, PS RKP, under Gomati District, vide RKP PS C/S No. 261/2012 U/S 498(A) IPC. The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Pradip Dey is guilty and convicted him U/S 498(A) IPC by sentencing him to remain on probation by executing a bond with one surety of Rs- 10,000/- for keeping peach and good behavior for a period of 03 (Three) years U/S 4 of the Probation of offender Act-1958.

On 17‐06‐2016 Ld. Dist. & Session Judge, South Tripura, Belonia convicted accused namely Sri  Goutam Das (32) S/O Sri Manindra Das of North Bhuratali, Kalacherra, PS‐MNB  for the offence U/S‐302 IPC and sentenced to R.I for life and also to pay a fine of Rs. 5000/‐, I.d to suffer R.I for 01 (one) year more.   The case was registered on 25‐02‐15 at 1705 hrs on the basis of Sou‐ moto complaint lodged by SI Jaystha Mohan Debbarma, I/C Kalachara Police camp against the above noted convicted accused person for commission of offence  punishable U/S 307/326 IPC and added section 302 IPC.

on 13/06/2016 Ld. court of Additional District Judge, Kamalpur convicted one accused person namely Jura Mohan Tripura (25) S/o Sri Dhananjoy Tripura of Kamdev Para, PS Raishyabari is sentenced to suffer fugorous Imprisonment for 01 (one) year and also to pay fine of Rs. 10,000/- in default he will suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for 03 (three) months for offence punishable tJls 417 IpC. The case was registered on 30-08-2014 at l4lo hrs on the basis of written complaint of the complainant namely Smt. Purbarung Tripura (52)wlo Lt. Ratan Kr. Tripura of Nabada Para, PS Gandacherra to the effect that, on 26-06-2016 at about 1200 hrs the FIR named accused person namely Jura Mohan Tripura took the victim girl namely Miss Kajal Rani rripura (15) D/o Sri Ratan Kr. Tripura of Nabada para pS Gandacherra to the jungle near by the Nabada Para and wrongfully confined her for three days in the jhum hut of that area and committed rape upon her. Later on 29-06- 14 she was taken to the house of FIR named accused person. Subsequently she was rescued from there by the mother of victim girl.

The Addl. District & Session Judge, Khowai has convicted to one accused person namely Babul Sabdakar S/o Lt. Girish Sabdakar of Choto Bagai, Uttar Singicherra PS-Khowai for the charge of murder of his wife namely Bina Sabdakar and sentence to suffer rigorous imprisonment for life with fine of Rs.3000/- in default to suffer simple imprisonment for six months for commission of an offence U/S 302 IPC. The fact of the case in brief is that on 30/05/2014 at night at about 0200 hours the complainant heard hue & cry towards eastern side of the house of his daughter Bina Sabdakar (deceased) and he along with his wife, children and other villagers rushed to the house of his daughter. After entering into the house he found dead body of his daughter Bina Sbdakar lying on the bed with bleeding throat cut injury in her dwelling hut and husband of the deceased was present at that time in the dwelling hut. AP Babul Sabdakar and his wife (deceased) used to quarrel with each other on the issue of their family affairs. Complainant of the case suspected that the AP Babul Sabdakar killed his daughter by sharp cutting weapon with the help of others. On the basis of this complaint O/C, Khowai PS registered a specific case vide Khowai PS Case No.56/2014 dated 31/05/2014 U/S 302/102(B) IPC and O/C, PS himself took the investigation of the case. After completion of investigation I.O. of the case Inspr. Narayan Chakraborty, O/C, Khowai PS submitted charge-sheet vide No.86/2014 dated 23/11/2014 U/S 302 IPC against AP Babul Sabdakar S/o Lt. Girish Sabdakar of Choto Bagai, Uttar Singicherra PS-Khowai with prayer of custodial trial. The Trial Court found the AP (Babul Sabdakar S/o Lt. Girish Sabdakar) guilty and convicted him

on 7th May 2016 evening a boat carrying 20 passengers (8 -male and 12-female) wes returning from mandlrghat to Gandacherra. In the mid stream boat capsized om a cyclonic storms. All the passengers swam to safety to a nearby hidden rock stands like an inland. Received this information Asstt. Comdt. Bankim Debbarma along with 07 Jawans of 12th Bn TSR rushed to the spot from their camp. The camp is located at the distance of 20 KM from Mandirghat. TSR rescued all trapped passengers unhurt by conducting vigorous operation upto mid night . Local people spoke highly of this heroic deed of TSR Jawans.

On 26‐05‐2016 Ld. CJM, South Tripura, Belonia convicted accused namely Sri Mithun Reang (27) S/O Sri Biswaram Reang of Gudhurai Reang para, West Pathichari, PS‐STB for the offence U/S 498 (A) IPC and sentenced to R.I for a period of 06 (six) month along with a fine of Rs. 1,000/‐ (one thousand), I.d to suffer R.I for a period of 01 (one) month.
